CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. -- Authorities are looking for a man suspected of robbing the Jefferson Security Bank in Charles Town Tuesday afternoon.

The white male suspect took an undisclosed amount of money from the bank at 873 E. Washington St. between 1 and 1:15 p.m. after he handed a note demanding cash from a teller, according to Jefferson County Sheriff's Department Detective Tracy Edwards.

Dressed in a red or burgundy "jumpsuit," the man did not show a weapon and was "very quiet" in carrying out the robbery, Edwards said.

Believed to be in his 30s, the man is between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build, light-colored eyes and a fair complexion, Edwards said.
