Found animals

The following animals recently were found and taken to the Humane Society of Washington County.

If you think your pet is among those listed, you may visit the Humane Society of Washington County at 13011 Maugansville Road. The shelter's business hours are: Sunday, closed; Monday, 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Wednesday and Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

These animals may be made available for adoption after five days. Call 301-733-2060 for more information.

Adult Shetland sheepdog/Pomeranian mix, cream and tan, found on George Street.

Adult Jack Russell/beagle mix, black and white, found on East Avenue.

Young Chihuahua, short coat, white and tan, found on Boyd Road, Clear Spring.

Two young Basenji/beagles, black and white, found on Greencastle Pike.

Adult Belgian Malinoism/shepherd, black and red, found on Lanes Run Road, Big Pool.

Adult beagle mix, black and white, found on Fairview Road.

Adult Alaskan husky/Lab, cream and tan, found on Hopkins Lane.
