County office building entrance temporarily closed

February 09, 2009

Repair to a water main at the Washington County Office Building has caused temporary closure of the 33 W. Washington St., entrance, the county announced this morning in a news release.

People needing services in the building should enter the 35 W. Washington St. entrance and use the rear elevator to connect to the offices on the second and fourth floors.

A route to the State's Attorney's office on the third floor of the building has been posted. People using mobility devices such as wheelchairs, scooters, walkers, canes or crutches who need to access State's Attorney services should call that office at 240-313-2000 for further information.

The repair is expected to be completed soon, and notification will be made when the entrance has reopened, the release said.
