Couples Night Out



Hagerstown Grace Brethren Church, First and Spruce streets, will hold Couples Night Out on Sunday, Feb. 22, at 6 p.m. The church will be showing the movie "Fireproof." Child care will be provided. An RSVP by Feb. 18 to the church office at 301-739-1726 would be appreciated.

St. Matthew's pork, sauerkraut dinner



St. Matthew's United Methodist Church, on the corner of West Franklin and High streets, will hold a pork and sauerkraut dinner Saturday, Feb. 21, from 3 to 7 p.m.

The menu includes pork and sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, succotash, bread, beverage and dessert. There will also be baked goods for sale.

Tickets cost $6.50.

Dinner and auction



Habitat for Humanity will hold its 16th annual dinner and auction titled "Home, Home on the Range with Habitat" Saturday, March 21, starting at 5 p.m.

The event will be held at the ARCC at Hagerstown Community College, 11400 Robinwood Drive.

Tickets cost $45 per person or $450 per table of 10. Deadline for reservations is March 6.

The event will include a buffet dinner, silent auction, live auction, raffles and games. Casual attire in a western theme is encouraged.

Discovery Station



Saturday - Greg Keefer will talk about "Introduction of the New Discovery Station Weather Station - How a Weather Station Works" at 2 p.m. at Discovery Station in downtown Hagerstown.

Neighborhoods 1st Locust Point to meet



Neighborhoods 1st Locust Point will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Bester Elementary School library. All are welcome.

Coat drive



Democrats for Positive Change will hold a coat drive Saturday at the Democratic Central Committee Headquarters, 245 N. Potomac St., Hagerstown, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Clean coats, jackets, scarves, hats, gloves, earmuffs and boots will be accepted. Infant clothing will also be accepted.

Women's and children's items will be donated to CASA. Men's items will be donated to The Salvation Army of Washington County.

If you would like, you can also bring a Valentine's Day treat with the children's items.
