Man hurt in Rust-Oleum fire

WILLIAMSPORT - A man was treated Friday at Washington County Hospital for burns he received to his face, arms and hands in a flash fire while mixing chemicals at the Rust-Oleum plant in Williamsport, according to fire officials.

The severity of the man's injuries and his name were not available Friday night.

The fire at 16410 Industrial Lane happened about 6 p.m., prompting firefighters from Williamsport, Halfway and Funkstown to respond, officials said.

No one else was injured and damage was limited to a piece of equipment where the fire ignited, Lt. Chris Farley said.
