Let's Talk Music

The Maryland Symphony Orchestra will offer a three-part music class for adults, "Let's Talk Music." The instructor will be Brendan Fitzsimmons. 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays, Feb. 11, March 18 and April 22. Double reed day

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. - The event is for "people who play" and "people who work with people who play" double reed instruments. The one-day seminar is open to high school double reed players in grades nine through 12, college students and instrumental music teachers and directors who have an interest in double reeds. Oboist Gregory Shook and bassonist Richard Polonchak will lead the seminar. Beginning beekeeping shortcourse

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. -The Franklin County Beekeepers' Association offers a five-session shortcourse on beginning beekeeping.7 to 9 p.m. Thursdays, March 5, 12, 19 and 26.
