IT improvements coming in Morgan Co.

February 06, 2009

BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. -- The Morgan County Commission on Thursday unanimously approved spending between $500 to $600 to upgrade the county office with uniform e-mail addresses and improve its Web site.

The recommendations were made by Jim Hoyt, a local computer businessman who volunteered his assistance; Ken Dabkowski, a consultant for the county's Economic Development Authority; and Maxie Maggio, who works in the commission office.

The address for the upgraded Web site will be Morgancountywv.gov, Hoyt said.

Maggio will be the Web master and maintain the site.

Commission President Brenda J. Hutchinson said Morgan County Prosecutor Debra MH McLaughlin "highly recommends" using uniform e-mail addresses.
