City of Frederick seeks citizens to serve on education panel

FREDERICK, Md. - The City of Frederick is seeking interested citizens to serve on the Education Commission. The commission provides support for the education of city students through academic achievement, extracurricular activities and advocacy.

The vacancies include a PTA representative, a teacher and two members at-large. The commission meets the first Thursday of each month at 4:30 p.m. at City Hall at 101 N. Court St. Candidates are required to be a resident of Frederick.
