Lillian Florence Willman, age 93, of 15641 National Pike, Hagerstown, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2009, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born Jan. 27, 1916, in Waynesboro, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Franklin Howard Morganthall and Susan Florence Reidel Morganthall.

She was the last surviving member of her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Robert Luther Willman, in 1996.

She was a member of the Evangel Baptist Church of Hagerstown and was a homemaker.

She is survived by three daughters, Jean Evans, Marlene Willman, and Deanna Morgan and husband, Jim, all of Hagerstown; three sons, Leroy Willman of Salisbury, Md., Douglas Willman, and Terry Willman and wife, Lori, all of Clear Spring; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.


She was preceded in death by five sisters, Bertha Fuller, Laura Yeagle, Leila Hurd, Margaret Kauffman and Beulah Morganthall; two brothers, Clarence Morganthall and George Morganthall; and a grandson, Daniel Lee Willman.

The family would like to thank a special caregiver, Teresa Forrest.

Services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Evangel Baptist Church, 17926 Broadfording Road, Hagerstown. The Rev. Ron Faith will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.

The family will receive friends at Donald Edwin Thompson Funeral Home Inc., 13607 National Pike, Clear Spring, on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. Friends may visit the funeral home after noon.

The family requests the omission of flowers. Donations may be made to Evangel Baptist Church, 17926 Broadfording Road, Hagerstown, MD 21740; or to Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742.
