WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. -- Derek Gallagher recorded 20 points, 11 rebounds, and seven steals for Shepherd University in the Rams' WVIAC loss.

Liki Turner had 11 points and nine boards and Tyrone Roach and Jonathan Motichka each scored 10 for the Rams (8-12, 7-5).

WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. -- Krissy Grosselin led Shepherd in scoring with 14 points while Colleen Shumaker had 13 points and eight rebounds and Katie Warehime scored 10 points.

The Rams (9-11, 6-7 WVIAC) shot just 33.3 percent (24-for-72) from the floor, including a 2-for-18 effort from 3-point range.

HCC at Patriot Games

FAIRFAX, Va. -- Hagerstown Community College participated Saturday in the Patriot Games at George Mason University.

JeBre Parker placed 10th in the mens' shot put with a throw of 12.64 meters, while Kyle Shreve was ninth in the 60-meter hurdles with a 9.08-second finish for the Hawks. Justin Cole finished the 1,000-meter run in 2:37.59 to place seventh and Dustin Adams placed sixth in the 3,000-meter run in 8:57.94.

Elizabeth Ross had a throw of 11.02 meters, good enough for ninth in the womens' shot put for HCC while Samantha Valiton was 11th in the 500-meter run in 1:25.56.
