Dinner, auction and fundraiser

Saturday, March 21,5 p.m., ARCC at Hagerstown Community College, 11400 Robinwood Drive, Hagers-town. Western theme, buffet dinner, auctions, raffles and games. Prom show

Potomac Bridals, in conjunction with the South Hagers-town High School PTA, will hold a prom fashion show at3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31 at the high school. The homecoming court will model the latest prom fashions from the prom industry's top designers. All proceeds will benefit the SHHS PTA. There will be door prizes, discount coupons provided by Potomac Bridals. Cost is $3 for adults, $2 for students.

Pancake and country sausage breakfast

QUINCY, Pa. - Saturday, Jan. 31, 7 to 10 a.m., Colestock Health Center's Bryson Room, Quincy Village Retirement Community, 6596 Orphanage Road. All you can eat. $6 per adult and $3 per child younger than 10. A bake sale will also be available. All proceeds benefit the residents of the Colestock Health Center.

Pork and sauerkraut dinner

MYERSVILLE, Md. - Saturday, Jan. 31, 3 to 6 p.m., Myersville Fire Co. Dinner includes pork, gravy, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, applesauce rolls, assorted cakes, coffee, iced tea and water. Costs $9.50 for adults, $8.50 for seniors, $5 for children ages 6 to 11, free for ages 5 and younger. Carryout is available.

Quilt show

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. -Thursday, Feb. 5, through Saturday, Feb. 7, Cumberland Valley Relief Center, 4225 Molly Pitcher Highway. More than 100 hand-quilted pieces will be on display. The show is a preview of the quilts that will be auctioned at the 2009 PA Relief Sale at the Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg, Pa., on Friday, April 3, and Saturday, April 4. The sale of quilts will benefit the work of Mennonite Central Committee. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7. Go to
