FAYETTEVILLE, Pa. - Joseph A. "Joe" Kriska, 48, of 312 W. Main St., died unexpectedly Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2009, at Chambersburg (Pa.) Hospital.

Born Jan. 24, 1961, in Detroit, he was a son of Andrew J. Kriska and Margaret Wingert Kriska of Chambersburg.

He was a 1979 graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School.

He was a self-employed antique dealer.

He was a member of Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Camp Hill, Pa.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 23 years, Olga Panagos Kriska; two brothers, James P. Kriska of Chapel Hill, N.C., and Jonathan H. Kriska of Chambersburg; and four nephews.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Orthodox Church, Chambersburg. Fr. Yanni E. Verginis will officiate. Burial will follow in Lincoln Cemetery.


The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg, and also from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church Saturday.
