Kevin Scott Marquiss, 38, of Virginia Avenue, Hagerstown, died Monday, Jan. 26, 2009, at his home.
Born Jan. 14, 1971, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Paul Blaine and Deloris Marie Smith Marquiss.
He was a 1989 graduate of North Hagerstown High School and a 1993 graduate of The College of West Virginia, Beckley, W.Va.
He was employed by First Data of Hagerstown.
He is survived by his wife, Beth Marie Myers Marquiss, whom he married Jan. 6, 2004; three stepdaughters, Jessica M. Polidor of Martinsburg, W.Va., Sara E. Martin of Mercersburg, Pa., and Natalie E. Guy of Hagerstown; five sisters, Debra K. Banas and Beth A. Kelley, both of Hagerstown, Terri L. Harshman of Clear Spring, Paula J. Platz of Williamsport and Karen M. Marquiss of Greencastle, Pa.; two brothers, Brian L. Marquiss of Greencastle and Timothy A. Marquiss of Clear Spring; one granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.
