Flamingo flocking reported in Williamsport

The Williamsport High School Rotary Club, which is known as Interact, is promoting flamingo flockings to raise money for the Polio Plus Foundation as part of its international projects for the year.

All funds directly support immunization campaigns in developing countries.

For a $10 donation, you can send a flock of about 15 flamingos to a nearby yard. When a yard has been flocked, there will be a sign and a letter on the front door explaining how to get the flamingos to migrate to another yard, and also an opportunity to purchase flamingo insurance for $20, which guarantees that your home is safe from flocking again. For more information, contact Sharon Barnhart or Randy Longnecker at 301-766-8426; Brent Bailey at 301-582-2747; Molly Hass at, or Casey Gaul at or 301-223-4151.
