LOUISA, Va. - Douglas Michael "Mike" Jamison, 51, of 1462 Schoolbus Road, and formerly of Chambersburg, Pa., died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2009, in Maui, Hawaii.

Born July 17, 1957, in Chambersburg, he was the son of Wilda Brown Jamison Mills of Chambersburg and the late Merle Jamison, and the stepson of Edwin L. Mills of Chambersburg.

He was a construction supervisor for T and B Equipment Co. in Ashland, Va., erecting bleachers for PGA and NASCAR events.

He served two tours in Korea with the U.S. Army from 1974 to 1980.

He raced his own car in Chester, Va.

In addition to his mother and stepfather, he is survived by two sisters, Lucinda Maciejewski of Kenosha, Wis., and Debra Hanlon of Vinton, Va.; one niece; three nephews; and one great-nephew.

The family will receive friends Friday from noon until funeral services begin at 2 p.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg. The Rev. Mike Sanders will officiate. Military honors will be conducted at the funeral home by members of Charles Nitterhouse VFW Post 1599.
