Tuesday - JFK 50 Mile Director Mike Spinnler will give a presentation "All about the JFK 50 Mile Ultramarathon."

Basket bingo

The South Hagerstown High School Band Boosters will hold a basket bingo Sunday, March 1, at Elks Lodge 378 on Robinwood Drive.

Tickets cost $25 per person, which includes a hot lunch. You must be 18 or older to play bingo or tip jars.

There will be 24 games, plus special raffles, door prizes and tip jars, including King Tuts. All baskets will be filled.

Doors open at 11:30 a.m., lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m. and bingo begins at 1:30 p.m.

Discovery Station

Saturday - Tracey Hollingsworth and Sherry Hess from Renfrew Museum will give a presentation on "How Linen is Made" at Discovery Station in downtown Hagerstown at 2 p.m

Brown-bag lectures

The Washington County Museum of Fine Arts will present the fourth series of brown-bag lectures (bring your lunch, the museum will supply the beverage) on its Old Master Collection by Kress Curatorial Fellow Dr. Leopoldine van Hogendrop Prosperetti on Feb. 13 and 20 at noon.

The topic on Feb. 13 will be "The Art of Painting in Genoa."

The Feb. 20 lecture will focus on the "Landscape and Philosophy in the Art of Jan Brueghel the Elder (1568-1625)."
