Dorothy Elaine Sillery, 75, of Julia Manor, Hagerstown and formerly of 19661 Marigold Drive, died Friday, Jan. 23, 2009, at the nursing home.
Born Jan. 5, 1934, in Big Springs, she was the daughter of the late Norman H. and Anna L. Kelley Bowers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Sillery, in 2005.
She was a member of Morris Frock American Legion Post 42 Auxiliary.
She is survived by two daughters, Gail D. Miller of Smithsburg and Tina M. Keene of Kentucky; two sons, Curtis L. Grove of Hagerstown and Joe Kelley of Minnesota; one stepdaughter, Stephanie Sanford of Colorado; one stepson, David Sillery of New Jersey; seven sisters, Mary Bowers, Anna Belle Manor, Eva Lee Plotner, Frances Domer and Anna Mae Myers, all of Martinsburg, W.Va., Darlene Allen of West Virginia and Hazel Lord of Florida; two brothers, Elmer Bowers and Kevin Bowers, both of Martinsburg; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
