St. John's Episcopal Church, the Rev. Stephanie Yancy will preside Sunday at the 8 and 10:15 a.m. communion services. Paige Kaetzel and the parish choir will provide music at the later service. Sunday School classes at 9 a.m. include an adult forum on Islam.

St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Pastor Quentin Fleming's message at the 8:15 a.m. chapel service and 10:30 a.m. communion service is "Been Fishing Lately?" Sunday school begins at 9:15 a.m.

St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Smithsburg, Pastor Mark Mooney's topic Sunday at the 9:30 a.m. service is "Jonah, The Reluctant Prophet." Church officers will be installed. Sunday school is at 10:45 a.m.

First Christian Church, the Rev. Karen Miller will speak on "Whispers of the Heart" at the 9:30 and 11:15 a.m. services. Music by Gerry and Dale Philp, the cherub, crusaders and the chancel choirs. Sunday school begins at 11:15 a.m.

Valley Assembly of God Christian Life Center, 17544 York Road, Hagerstown, Sunday, the Rev. Robert Jones will speak on "Baptism in the Holy Spirit" at the 10 a.m. service. Bible Study is at 9 a.m. Royal Rangers and girls ministries topic at 6 p.m. is "What Jesus Learned at His Trade." Wednesday Oasis Service with NuVision Youth is at 7 p.m. with Victorious Christian service study.

Calvary United Methodist Church, Martinsburg, W.Va., the Rev. Al Clipp's message at 8:30 and 10:45 a.m. services Sunday is "Jesus Knows You." Sunday school begins at 9:30 a.m. A soup and sandwich luncheon at 12:15 p.m.
