Two arraigned on drug charges

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. -- Two people were arraigned Friday on felony drug charges after police said they took part in a heroin deal with a confidential informant, according to Berkeley County Magistrate Court records.

Felicia Danell Williams, 22, of 123 Crestview Drive in Inwood, W.Va., and Michael James McCumber II, 26, of 111 Wild Dogwood Lane in Harpers Ferry, W.Va., were arraigned on charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance (heroin) and conspiracy to deliver the drug, according to court records.

Magistrate W. Randy Smith set $100,000 bonds for both, according to court records.

Williams and McCumber were arrested Thursday by West Virginia State Police Cpl. M.A. Cole after the alleged deal in Inwood, according to a complaint by Trooper J.B. Flanigan.

In addition to the $100 deal for a half-gram of heroin, Williams allegedly told officers she had more of the drug at her home, where authorities found five grams, Flanigan said in his complaint.
