MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - A 16-year-old Martinsburg boy was charged with delivery of a controlled substance after police said he sold marijuana to a confidential informant Thursday, according to a Martinsburg Police Department news release.
The drug deal was arranged in the 300 block of North Maple Avenue in the city and police said a second individual fled the scene as officers approached to make arrests, according to the news release.
The 16-year-old was arrested and detained in a juvenile detention center, police said.
