BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. - Judith Ann Harmison, 56, of Berkeley Springs, died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009, at Winchester (Va.) Medical Center.

Born April 5, 1952, in Winchester, she was the daughter of the late Irving and Reva Kerns.

She graduated from James Wood High School in Winchester.

She was employed by Winchester Medical Center in food services as a cashier.

She was a member of Love Assembly of God in Berkeley Springs.

She was a member of the Praise Club and Morgan County (W.Va.) Farm Bureau.

She is survived by her husband, John Philip Harmison; one daughter, Kim Seals of Columbia, S.C.; two sons, Kory Harmison and Kody Harmison, both of Berkeley Springs; four sisters, Mary Wine and Jean Gentry, both of Cross Junction, Va., Dorothy Tinsman of Hedgesville, W.Va., and Nona Smith of Winchester; three brothers, Dale Kerns, Wayne Kerns and Bud Kerns, all of Cross Junction; nieces; and nephews.


Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Love Assembly of God in Berkeley Springs. Pastor Dave Kidwell and Pastor Ken Dyar will officiate. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends today and Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home in Berkeley Springs and Sunday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church.
