Franklin County Extension Association

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Friday, Jan. 23, 7 p.m., Solomon's Lutheran Church, 4856 Wayne Road. This year's speaker will be Dr. David Wolfgang, extension veterinarian, Penn State University. Tickets cost $12.50 for adults or $6 for children ages 5 to 11. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. for snacks and fellowship. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. Call 717-263-9226.

Bass fishing tournament

BRUNSWICK, Md. - Saturday, Feb. 14, 5 a.m., Brunswick Campground boat ramp, Potomac River. Hosted by 2 Rivers Guide Service. Depending on the number of participants, the first one to five winners and lunker will be paid out.
