The Maryland Senior Citizens Hall of Fame is seeking nominees for induction into the 2009 Hall of Fame. The nominating period runs until April 30.
Nominees must be residents of Maryland, ages 60 or older, who have made an outstanding contribution to improve the lives of others in the community. Nominations can be made by an individual or an organization. A completed nomination form, a letter of reference from an individual who knows the person's accomplishments and a picture of the candidate are required. Each year, MSCHF Inc. honors up to 50 nominees as inductees into the Hall of Fame. Nominees who are selected for induction will be presented at the annual awards luncheon on Thursday, Oct. 22, at Michaels Eighth Avenue in Glen Burnie, Md.
