McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. - Carrie C. Crone, 49, of McConnellsburg, died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2009, at Stonebridge Health and Rehab in Duncannon, Pa.

Born Oct. 25, 1959, in McConnellsburg, she was the daughter of Carolyn Carbaugh of McConnellsburg and the late Herman C. Carbaugh.

She was employed as a registered nurse at Fulton County Medical Center for more than 10 years.

She was a member of McConnellsburg Volunteer Fire Co., and was a CPR instructor and trainer for the American Heart Association.

She is survived by one daughter, Ashlie Crone of Harrisburg, Pa.; one son, Terence Crone of Harrisburg; one stepson, Jeremy Crone of Harrisburg; three sisters, Chandra Elmes, Candie Diffenderfer and Cheryl Cutshall, all of McConnellsburg; and four nephews.

Memorial services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, McConnellsburg, which will be open from 1 to 2 p.m. Burial will be in Union Cemetery. The Rev. Ronnie Martin will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help defer funeral expenses.
