MERCERSBURG, Pa. - Miriam A. "Minnie" Angle, 79, of Oakwood Drive, died Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009, at Chambersburg (Pa.) Hospital.

Born March 5, 1929, in Greencastle, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Fred and Emma Wilson Fisher.

Her husband, John W. Angle, died March 22, 1985.

She was a graduate of Greencastle High School.

Along with her husband, she owned and operated the Parnell Motel in Mercersburg.

She was a member of Open Door Church in Chambersburg.

She is survived by one daughter, Wendy A. Holcomb of Marietta, Ga.; one son, J. Michael Angle of Bluefield, Va.; two brothers, Richard Fisher and Fred Fisher Jr., both of Greencastle; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Jeffrey L. Angle; and three brothers, James Fisher, Carl Fisher and Ronald Fisher.

Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Lininger-Fries Funeral Home Inc., Mercersburg. Pastor Mike Sanders will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Mercersburg.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services Wednesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Open Door Church, 600 Miller St., Chambersburg, PA 17201.
