CLEAR SPRING - Wanda Kay (Richardson) Miller, 50, of 12617 Trinity Church Drive, died Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2009, at her home.

Born Aug. 30, 1958, in Maryland, she was the daughter of M. Louise Shipley of Clear Spring and the late Carl Richardson.

She was a graduate of Clear Spring High School, class of 1976.

She was employed as a secretary with the City of Hagerstown Public Works.

She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Hagerstown.

She was a member of Joseph C. Herbert American Legion Post 202, Clear Spring, The Improved Order of Red Men Conococheague Tribe 84 of Williamsport, and was a volunteer with United Way.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Jeffrey L. Miller of Clear Spring; three daughters, Heather Miller-Danko of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Jannell Miller of Cearfoss and Ashley Miller of Clear Spring; one sister, Dixie D. Line of Greencastle, Pa.; two brothers, Donnie Burger of San Jose, Calif., and Dwayne Rice of Arizona; one granddaughter; and six grandsons.

Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Donald Edwin Thompson Funeral Home Inc., Clear Spring. Chaplin Beth Johns will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742 or to John R. Marsh Cancer Center, 11110 Medical Campus Road, Hagerstown, MD 21742.
