FAYETTEVILLE, Pa. - Louise Ida Gibbons Perry, 83, of Fayetteville, died Monday, Jan. 12, 2009, at her home.

Born June 8, 1925, in Pleasant Hall, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Jacob Henry Hepfer and Mary Caroline Hetrick Hepfer.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul M. Gibbons; and her second husband, Ben Perry.

She worked as a waitress at Travelodge in Chambersburg, Pa.

She was a member of Mount Pleasant United Brethren Church in Chambersburg.

She was a member of Charles Nitterhouse VFW Post 1599 Ladies Auxiliary and served as past president of the Military Order of Cooties Auxiliary.

She is survived by three daughters, Betty L. Gibbons of Gettysburg, Pa., Andrena Stouffer of Fayetteville and Georgina Gibbons of Chambersburg; three sisters, Joyce Gartside of Chambersburg and Lucy Cisney and Caroline Kyle, both of Orrstown, Pa.; one brother, John Hepfer of Roxbury, Pa.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three stepdaughters; and three stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Elizabeth Reed; and two brothers, Dave and Bill Hepfer.

A memorial service will be Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at Mount Pleasant United Brethren Church, Chambersburg. Pastor Garry Culler will officiate. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery, Chambersburg.

The family will receive friends Saturday from noon to 12:30 p.m. at the church.
