FAIRPORT, N.Y. - Constance Denise Redick Allen, 52, of Fairport, and formerly of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died Friday, Jan. 9, 2009, at Rochester (N.Y.) General Hospital.

Born Aug. 18, 1956, in Martinsburg, W.Va., she was the daughter of Richard Lewis Redick of Berkeley Springs and the late Phyllis Inez Pentoney Redick.

She worked as deputy receiver of taxes for the Town of Perinton, N.Y.

She was a member of Fairport Untied Methodist Church, where she volunteered and served on many committees.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, William Henry "Bill" Allen II; one son, William H. Allen III of Fairport; two sisters, Stephanie I. Shives of Hancock and Crystal L. Morris of Berkeley Springs; two brothers, Richard L. Redick II and Tye A. Redick, both of Berkeley Springs; and many nieces and nephews.


A memorial service will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Fairport United Methodist Church, Fairport. Burial will be private.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home, Berkeley Springs.
