MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - William F. Frankenberry, 58, of Martinsburg, died Sunday, Jan. 11, 2009, at City Hospital.

Born June 15, 1950, in Martinsburg, he was the son of Dorothy Fulk Frankenberry of Martinsburg and the late Clyde William Frankenberry.

He was an agent with Long and Foster Real Estate.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

He was a fourth-degree member of Knights of Columbus, Eucharistic minister and RCIA Catechist at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Mary Pat Grimes Frankenberry; one daughter, Elizabeth A. Frankenberry Kee of Indianapolis; two sons, Stephen B. Frankenberry of Orlando, Fla., and Marc A. Frankenberry of Frederick, Md.; two grandsons, Emmitt and Colin Frankenberry, whom he adopted and raised; two sisters, Anita F. Brant of Shippensburg, Pa., and Kay Morrow of Martinsburg; one granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.


He was preceded in death by one daughter, Kristen L. Frankenberry; one half brother, Clyde L. Frankenberry; and one granddaughter.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Monsignor Patrick Fryer will be celebrate. Burial will be private.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg, with a vigil service at 6 p.m.
