CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Doris Jean Drawbaugh, 81, of 316 Woodvale Drive, died Sunday, Jan. 11, 2009, at Chambersburg Hospital.

Born Jan. 31, 1927, in Greencastle, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Laban and Eleanor Brubaker Stoner.

She was a 1945 graduate of Chambersburg High School.

She most recently owned and operated Worth's Specialty Women's Clothing Store, Chambersburg, retiring in 2005.

She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and Martha Custis Chapter 139 Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Lewis B. Drawbaugh Jr.; three children, Lana Drawbaugh Watford of Panama City, Fla., Dan S. Drawbaugh of Pittsburgh and Carla Drawbaugh Gaughenbaugh of Gambrills, Md.; five sisters, Anna Keefer, Celia Lawson, Jane Brindle and Nelle Mummert, all of Chambersburg, and Esther Schwebel of Delaware; and six grandchildren.

Services will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Calvary United Methodist Church, Fayetteville, Pa. The Revs. Clyde H. Deshong III and Guy Camp will officiate. Burial will follow in Lincoln Cemetery.


The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg.
