January 12, 2009

FORT LOUDON, Pa. -- Three McConnellsburg, Pa., men and a juvenile have been arrested in connection with the Jan. 6 theft of firearms from Keystone Country Store on Path Valley Road.

Loren Stains and Jeremy Davis, both 18, were arrested at 3 p.m. Saturday on East Market Street in McConnellsburg through a cooperative effort by Pennsylvania State Police and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

Ryan Lynn Horton, 19, and a juvenile turned themselves in later that night, according to John Hageman, a spokesman for ATF.

"There will be discussions with the U.S. Attorney and local prosecutors regarding the proper venue for this case," Hageman said.

Each suspect has been charged with theft of firearms from a licensed gun dealer. The federal crime is punishable with up to 10 years in prison, Hageman said.
