PETERSBURG, W.Va. -- Jess Haynes led three Indians in double figures with 18 points as Berkeley Springs beat Petersburg 64-49 in a Potomac Valley Conference game on Saturday.

Amber Booher added 17 points and Diedra Burch had 14 points, four assists and three steals for the Indians (7-3, 1-1). Amber Brewer grabbed nine rebounds.

HANCOCK -- Maureen Leavy scored eight of her 16 points in the fourth quarter as Hancock rallied to knock off St. James.

The Panthers trailed after the third quarter, 29-23 before ending the game on a 17-3 run to complete the victory. Leavy also had 14 rebounds, while Karly Logsdon added 11 boards and four steals, and Chelsea Stigile recorded nine rebounds and five steals for Hancock (2-6).

Caroline Salisbury scored 13 points and Jordan Wills chipped in with 11 for the Saints (1-8).

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. -- Iesha Robinson had 18 points, nine rebounds and seven assists for Martinsburg, which jumped out to a 23-2 first-quarter lead and forced 40 Goretti turnovers in the Apple Valley League game.

Jackie Brewer led all scorers with 23 points and also had five steals for the Bulldogs (6-1, 3-0), and Yolonda Pinkcett tallied 14 points and eight rebounds.

Gettysburg 42, Waynesboro 20

WAYNESBORO, Pa. -- Gettysburg held Waynesboro to single digits in all four periods to beat the Maidens in a nonconference game.

Mallory Wishard had five points and 12 rebounds for the Maidens (4-7), who managed only six field goals in the game.

On Friday night, the Maidens lost a Mid-Penn Capital game to Shippensburg, 59-50. Wishard and Chelsey Kistler each had 14 points and Danielle Miller added 12. Wishard also grabbed nine rebounds.

Shippensburg improved to 9-3, 5-0 with the victory.

FREDERICK, Md. -- Armando Miller scored a game-high 22 points to pace Broadfording Christian Academy to a Friday night victory against New Life Christian (2-7).

Miller added nine rebounds for the Lions (6-6), while Steven Economos had 12 points and nine boards, Anthony Borum scored 10 points, and Gabe Hirsch had five steals.
