January 11, 2009

DULLES, Va. - On Dec. 29, the Martinsburg Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol took a field trip to the National Air & Space Museum's Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center, near Washington Dulles International Airport.

The visit was part of the CAP squadron's continuing aerospace education training program for both the cadet and adult members.

In addition to the museum tour, the squadron participates in a model rocketry program, a flight training program, and other aerospace education programs, which serves to complement the CAP cadet program and CAP's emergency services programs.
