SALEM, W.Va. -- Katie Warehime scored a game-high 28 points to help Shepherd break a four-game losing streak with an easy WVIAC win over Salem International.

Warehime connected on 9 of 11 shots from the floor and made 10 of 11 free throws.

Shelby Fayak and Melissa Furr each added 11 points off the bench for the Rams (4-8, 1-4). Colleen Shumaker had five steals and tied Fayak for game-high rebounding honors with six.

Ross fourth at Gulden Relays

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- Hagerstown Community College's Elizabeth Ross finished fourth with a throw of 37 feet, 4 inches in the women's shot put at the Gulden Relays at Bucknell University.

In the men's mile, Dustin Adams was 11th (4:35.77) and Corey Centofonti was 14th (4:39.03), while Jordan Atha was ninth (5:45.44) in the women's mile. Kyle Shreve was 10th (9.04) in the 60-meter hurdles and JeBre Parker was 10th in the men's shot put (38-11.75).

Ryan Yingling was 12th (1:14.0) in the men's 500, while Samantha Valiton was 11th (1:26.93) in the women's 500. Valiton also finished 13th in the women's 60 (8.34) and Justin Cole was 15th in the men's 3,000 (9:24.00).
