WILLIAMSPORT -- Williamsport waited an extra day to meet Catoctin, but the Wildcats showed no signs of rust Wednesday in a 58-45 MVAL Antietam victory over the Cougars.

Freshman Stephen Christy scored 12 of his career-high 22 points in the first quarter as Williamsport (5-2, 2-0) jumped out to a 28-7 lead.

Casey McKenrick added 14 points and Michael Warrenfeltz had 11 for the Wildcats.

BRUNSWICK, Md. -- Justin Stone had 21 points, 10 rebounds and five assists to lead Brunswick past South Hagerstown.

Jeremy Rhoderick scored 19 points, Shawn Baker added 11 and Marcus Hall chipped in with nine assists and eight steals for Brunswick (6-1).

Shane Santell led the Rebels (4-4) in scoring with 19 points.

COVE, Pa. -- Kace Worrell had 12 points and nine rebounds for James Buchanan, which held Susquenita (1-11) to zero first-quarter points and only 16 through three periods.

Dylan Rhodes scored a team-high 14 points, while Sawyer Hollenshead had 12 for the Rockets (5-6).

ELDERSBURG, Md. -- Brent Bell had 24 points and four steals for North Hagerstown, which gave up separate runs of 16-4 and 16-0 to Liberty in a loss on the road.

Joe Mattei tallied 12 points, seven boards, four steals, three blocks and three assists for the Hubs (5-4), while Allen Sandberg added 12 points and four assists.

Dan Martinez scored 21 points and Connor Rigby had 15 for Liberty (6-2).

ROMNEY, W.Va. -- Jefferson turned up the defensive pressure and outscored Hampshire 27-5 in the second quarter to move to its fifth win in five games.

Dewey McDonald scored 10 of his 15 points in the period and Garrett Grantham added six of his game-high 17 as the Cougars (5-0) turned a two-point deficit into a 44-24 halftime lead.

Nick Zbikowski had 12 points, 11 rebounds and six blocks for Jefferson, while McDonald added five rebounds and six assists and Justin Bryan had seven rebounds.

Towson Catholic 72, Goretti 56

TOWSON, Md. -- St. Maria Goretti held a two-point lead at the outset of overtime before Towson Catholic went on a 16-0 run to seal the Baltimore Catholic League victory.

Brendan Engle scored the go-ahead bucket for Goretti (3-13, 0-5) before Towson (6-5, 2-2) scored two buckets and hit 10 of 12 free throws.

Stephon Berry tallied 18 points and a team-high 11 rebounds, Nic Martin had 17 points and Engle had 10 points, five rebounds and four steals for Goretti.
