FREDERICK, Md. - Frederick Community College's chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the international honors society for community college students, earned the Five Star Chapter distinction and Pinnacle recognition for new member recruitment.
Phi Theta Kappa's mission is to recognize and encourage the academic achievement of two-year college students, and to provide opportunities for individual growth and development through participation in honors, leadership, service and fellowship programming.
The FCC chapter's Pinnacle distinction has earned $200 to assist with student participation at the Phi Theta Kappa Regional Convention in Baltimore in February.
