HUACHUCA CITY, Ariz.- Concettina Oliverio Voce, 76, of 202 Second St., and formerly of 2649 Letterkenny Road, Chambersburg, Pa., died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008, at her oldest daughter Barbara A. Voce's home at 120 Walnut Bottom Road, Shippensburg, Pa.

Born Nov. 3, 1932, in Reggio Calabria, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Maria and Guiseppe Oliverio.

Her husband, Anthony Donald Voce, died in 1984.

She was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Chambersburg and Saint Andrew Apostle Church in Sierra Vista, Ariz.

She is survived by three daughters, Barbara A. Voce of Shippensburg, Rose Marie S. Voce of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Raffaella Voce of Leawood, Kans.; two sons Anthony Voce of Chambersburg, Pa.; and Robert Voce of Wurzburg, Germany; two sisters, Pina Talvy and Raffaella Fileri; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Walter Oliverio.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 11 a.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Chambersburg, with the Rev. James R. O'Brien as celebrant.

Burial will be at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va.
