BOLIVAR, W.Va. - Phyllis Jeanienne "Neanie" Morgan, 78, of Bolivar, died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008, at her home.

Born Feb. 11, 1930, in Millville, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Woods Robinson and Ruth Webb Robinson.

Her husband, Benjamin F. Morgan, preceded her in death.

She was formerly employed at Cliffside Inn and Restaurant in Harpers Ferry, W.Va.

She was a member of Shenandoah Memorial United Methodist Church in Millville.

She is survived by four daughters, Renee Spencer and Marla Staubs of Bolivar, Darla Bishoff of Boonsboro and Robin Carper of Charles Town, W.Va.; one son, Michael Morgan of Shepherdstown, W.Va.; one sister, Judy Manuel of Yucaipa, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by one son, Stephen M. Morgan; one sister, Nancy J. Sowers; one brother, Calvin Robinson; and three grandchildren.


Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home in Charles Town, W.Va. The Rev. Douglas Fraim will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Lutheran Cemetery in Bolivar.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
