KNOXVILLE, Md. - Forrest Glenn Moler Jr., 77, of Knoxville, died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2008, in Ocala, Fla.

Born Aug. 6, 1931, in Brunswick, Md., he was the son of the late Forrest Glenn Moler Sr. and Helen Loy Moler.

He was a 1948 graduate of Brunswick High School.

He owned and operated Moler's Market for 35 years.

He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Navy.

He was a member of New York Hill United Methodist Church in Brunswick.

He supported midget football and Brunswick Little League. He was a member of Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 1582 and Brunswick Masonic Lodge 191 AF&AM, both of Brunswick. He was an honorary member of Brunswick Fire Co.


He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Ferne Rice Moler, at home; one son, Zandy G. Moler of Knoxville; one sister, Jacqueline McCoy of Timonium, Md.; one brother, Robert Moler of Knoxville; one aunt; nieces; and nephews.

Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Brownsville Church of the Brethren in Brownsville, Md. Pastor Noni Sigler and the Rev. Alan Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Brownsville Heights Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at John T. Williams Funeral Home in Brunswick. Brothers of the Brunswick Masonic Lodge will hold a service at 7:30 p.m.
