Lennis J. "Lenny" Hull, 71, of 9728 Garis Shop Road, Hagerstown, died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2008, at Washington County Hospital.

Born April 3, 1937, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Clarence Edward Hull and Lula Bell Purdham Hull.

He was employed by Londontown Manufacturing Co.

He served in the U.S. Army.

He was co-founder and crew chief of Shady Style Pulling, and a former member of The Classic Car Group for Children, Williamsport Red Men and Boy Scouts of America.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Martha Jonell Hull; one daughter, Cherryl L. Cogar of Williamsport; two sons, John E. Hull of Big Pool and Clarence W. Hull of Waynesboro, Pa.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by one brother, Edward E. Hull; and two grandsons.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, Hagerstown. The Rev. Floyd E. Myers will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.
