FALLING WATERS, W.Va. - David L. Shaffer, 36, of Falling Waters, died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2008 at his home.
Born Jan. 8, 1972 in Chambersburg, Pa., he was the son of Jack W. Shaffer of Shippensburg, Pa. and Florence Shantz Peck of Greencastle, Pa.
He was a 1990 graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School, Greencastle.
He served in the U.S. Marines Reserves.
He worked as a Fed-Ex Ground driver for the last two years.
He is survived by one son, David L. Shaffer Jr., of Greencastle, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, and one sister, Kelly Jo Shaffer.
Services will be Monday, Dec. 29 at 8 p.m., at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg, with the Rev. Christy Stouffer officiating.
