CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Sarah B. Kegerreis, 87, formerly of Miracle Lane, Chambersburg, died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2008, at Falling Spring Nursing Center.
Born Nov. 8, 1921, in Upper Strasburg, Pa., she was the daughter of the late John and Florence Mackey Basore.
Her husband, John A. Kegerreis, died in 2002. They were married March 21, 1940.
She was a homemaker.
She was member of First United Methodist Church, the Alda Bowers Sunday School Class and assisted with Cub Scouts Pack 124.
She is survived by one daughter, Juanita Shamer of Finksburg, Md.; two sons, J. Stephen Kegerreis of Manchester, Md., and Jody A. Kegerreis of Chambersburg; one sister, Mary Shindledecker of Shippensburg, Pa.; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
