Halfway office shares in service projects

Allegany Dental Care's community service projects involve doctors, their families and staff. All three of the dental-care facilities served as drop-off locations for the Toys for Tots program. Also, on Dec. 13, the doctors and staff rang the bell for The Salvation Army outside the Pennsylvania Dutch Market at Long Meadow Shopping Center. While some participated in this project, others decided to stay indoors, wrapping packages at Valley Mall for the American Red Cross.

Blue Band gives back by collecting food

Williamsport Blue Band members and their families donated food during the winter concert on Dec. 18. The Blue Band and its director, Robert Stike, thanked the community for its tremendous support of the band during marching season. The band decided that gathering food for the Williamsport Food Bank was a wonderful way to give back to the community.
