Merry Christmas

Christmas in Clear Spring was enjoyed by loads of people, including me! The town was decked out beautifully, and there were so many sights, activities, and performances to enjoy. Thanks to all the many hands that helped put it on.

Only two days left now. I hope that everyone has a merry Christmas. The kids are off Dec. 24 through Jan 4. Enjoy all the kiddies being off school, before you know it they'll have to go back. Merry Christmas!

Happy birthday

Happy Birthday wishes go out to Doug McBurney. Mr. McBurney, or as his students might call him, "Mr. McB," will be celebrating his birthday, today, Dec. 23. I hope you have a great day!

Did You Know?

Did you know that there was a meteor shower in Clear Spring on Nov. 13, 1833? Meteors the size of a man's fist fell from the sky in the middle of the night.

People were frightened and thought that it might be Judgment Day. One man's neighbor who had borrowed a bridle and then denied that he borrowed it; on the morning after the shower brought it back to his neighbor and made a tearful amends.
