Penn State Mont Alto

MONT ALTO, Pa. - Penn State Mont Alto held its second annual Continuing Education Day for Occupational Therapy Practitioners on Nov. 8.

Seventy clinicians and students participated, earning six contact hours required for continuing certification and/or licensure.

Practitioners from Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia attended the event.

Workshops included "Low Vision Therapy for Older Adults" by Joyce McCormick, "Certified Low Vision Therapist, Overview: Evidence-Based Practice" by Dr. Angela Hissong and "Understanding the Scope & Power of Sensori-Motor Skills" by Tara Summers.

The school is considering hosting another clinic in the spring that will offer practitioners six hours of continuing education credits.

Conquest Designs

FREDERICK, Md. - Conquest Designs recently was awarded the project of designing and developing the Web site and brochures that will be used to promote Main Street Middletown (Md).

Middletown became a Main Street Maryland community in June.

Corporate Office Properties Trust

COLUMBIA, Md. - The board of trustees of Corporate Office Properties Trust (COPT) recently declared a quarterly dividend of 37.25 cents per common share of beneficial interest for the fourth quarter of 2008. The dividend will be paid Jan. 15, 2009, to shareholders of record on Dec. 31.

The board also declared the following dividends. All dividends cover the period from Oct. 15 to Jan. 14, 2009, and are payable Jan. 15, 2009, to shareholders of record as of Dec. 31:

· Series G Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Share of beneficial interest of the company - 50 cents per share

· Series H Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Share of beneficial interest of the company - 46.88 cents per share

· Series J Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Share of beneficial interest of the company - 47.66 cents per share

· Series K Cumulative Redeemable Convertible Preferred Share of beneficial interest of the company - 70 cents per share

COPT purchased the former Fort Ritchie U.S. Army base in Cascade in two phases beginning in 2006 and is redeveloping it into a mix of office, commercial and residential uses.
