LEITERSBURG - Nervin B. Mullenix, 83, of Leitersburg Pike, died Monday, Dec. 15, 2008, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Oct. 13, 1925, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Frank A. and Mary E. Delauder Mullenix.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Beulah Jane Kauffman Mullenix, on Sept. 26, 2007.
He attended the Hagerstown area school.
He served in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force.
He was employed by Mack Trucks of Hagerstown for more than 22 years, retiring in 1987.
He is survived by one stepdaughter, Carolyn Mongan of Leitersburg; four sisters, Millie P. Toms, Beatrice R. Myers and Valerie C. Eccard, all of Hagerstown, and Nadine R. Bercaw of Smithsburg; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.
