Hagerstown Police responded recently to the following incidents:



Wednesday

o At 8:54 a.m., an overdose was reported in the 200 block of Bryan Place.

o At 12:49 p.m., burglary was reported in the 1100 block of Kenly Avenue.

o At 1:29 p.m., damage to property was reported in the 800 block of Florida Avenue. Tires were damaged.

o At 1;57 p.m., theft was reported in the first block of Berger Avenue. An Independence card was taken.

o At 3:27 p.m., attempted theft was reported in the 1400 block of Haven Road. Someone tried to take a motor vehicle annual registration sticker.

Thursday

o At 3:24 p.m., property was found in the 400 block of North Prospect Street. A wallet was taken.

o At 6:01 p.m., a carjacking was reported in the 1300 block of South Potomac Street.

The Washington County Sheriff's Department responded recently to the following incidents:

o At 1:10 p.m., malicious destruction of property was reported in the 9600 block of Sharpsburg Pike. A window was broken out of a construction vehicle.

o At 3:06 p.m., theft was reported at stores in Valley Mall. A purse was taken from the back room of a store and a credit card was used in other stores.

o At 4 p.m.., trespassing and malicious destruction of property were reported in the 17500 block of Longstreet Circle.

o At 8:14 p.m., theft was reported at Valley Mall. Someone took several sweaters from a store.

o At 9 p.m., vandalism was reported in the 10800 block of Wilcox Drive. Someone threw three eggs at a vehicle over the weekend. 

o At 10 p.m., damage was reported in the 18000 block of West Oak Ridge Drive. Someone threw rocks at a house.
