Holiday decorating contest winners named

WILLIAMSPORT - The results of the Williamsport Christmas decorating contest have been announced.

Last Saturday, Mayor James G. McCleaf II, Assistant Mayor Tony Drury, town clerk Donnie Stotlemyer and some Williamsport Nursing Home residents filtered through neighborhoods looking for the best in holiday creativity.

The winner's were named during Monday night's Williamsport Town Council meeting and each winner will receive a letter and certificate from the mayor, Stotlemyer said.

o Third prize, Highway Song and Leather

o Fourth prize, Briar Patch

o Third prize, Jay Lauver, 28 Springfield Lane

o Fourth prize, George Stumbaugh, 132 S. Vermont St.
