Night of Lights



The City of Hagerstown's Night of Lights will be Sunday, Dec. 21. The city's sidewalks and neighborhoods will be strung together through a series of luminarias lining the walkways. This event is sponsored by Neighborhoods First. For more information, call 301-739-8577, ext. 191.

PTA meeting



The South Hagerstown High School PTA meeting is today at 6 p.m. Those members who have not paid 2008-09 dues can do so at the meeting. Those who have Christmas cards for the troops are asked to bring them to the meeting. They will be mailed Friday.

Victorian tea



A Victorian Christmas tea party will be held Thursday, Dec. 18, at Antietam Ironworks. This is the third Thursday tea series at Antietam Ironworks with Judy Larkin.

Larkin, a tea historian, will be dressed in period clothing. She will share her knowledge about a typical Victorian Christmas tea party. Holiday concert to be held at museum
