BOONSBORO - Franklin Eugene Kline, 71, of Boonsboro, Md., died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008, at Washington County Hospital after a long illness.

Born Sept. 4, 1937, he was the son of the late Alvey Woodrow Kline and Alverta May (Pryor) Kline of Myersville, Md.

He was employed by Wolfe Brothers/Wolfe and Sons for over 40 years.

He served in the military for two years.

He was a member of Grossnickle Church of the Brethren, Myersville.

He is survived by his wife, Delores (Palmer) Kline and one son, Gregory Kline; four brothers, Edgar Kline Sr. and wife, Miriam, Ronald Kline and wife, Carol, Marvin Kline and wife, Kaye, and Gary Kline and wife, Jorja, all of Myersville; two sisters, Patsy Miller and husband, Kenneth, and Joyce Forsyth and husband, Jeffrey, both of Hagerstown; sisters-in-law, Delores Kline of Boonsboro and Sandra Kline of Smithsburg; three aunts, Ruth Kline, Miriam Rice and Edna Pryor; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Maurice, Woodrow A. and Hubert; as well as an infant sister, Nancy.

Arrangements were handled by Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home of Boonsboro.

A memorial service will be held by Pastors Tim and Donna Ritchey Martin on Dec. 16, 2008, at 7 p.m. at Grossnickle Church of the Brethren, 11301 Meeting House Road, Myersville, MD 21773.

Donations in his memory may be made to the Church Memorial Garden Fund.

A private burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
